Tradition

Tradition can be defined as the handing of something across time (Handler 1984). This can be achieved by simply sharing the same space with a mentor that allow one to take in the art form (Sims 2011). We can see how this holds true for mole— children grew up watching their mothers cook and then grew up and cooked for their families. By watching, assisting and eventually doing, the tradition was carried on generation after generation.
